Configuration Settings: Quick Search
These settings apply globally to the Quick Search Results pages across all Libraries and Sites on this Triaster Server.
Some settings require a document re-index before the setting will take effect.
If you adjust any settings, remember to click on the Save Changes button before closing the Configuration tool.

| Display Hits On Search Tabs |
If this box is ticked, the number of results for a category are displayed on the tabs within the Quick Search tool.
Turning this off may improve responsiveness. |
| Pdf Document Title Source |
During indexing, this option defines where the title for a PDF Document is read.
Document Title Field will read from the Documents' title field (if present), then use the filename as backup.
Setting to Filename will always use the filname, ignoring the document title field. |

During indexing, this option defines where the title for a Word Document (2007+) is read.
Document Title Field will read from the documents' title field (if present), then use the filename as backup.
Setting to Filename will always use the filname, ignoring the document title field. |

During indexing, this option defines where the title for a Powerpoint Document (2007+) is read.
Document Title Field will read from the Documents' title field (if present), then use the filename as backup.
